Transplanted tomatoes, sweetcorn, pepper, squash, courgette into grow bags and big green bags in the greenhouse. We also planted spinach coriander, good king henry, calabrese and romaine lettuce in seed pots.
Put in an au
tomatic watering system coz we might have some holidays away and dont want to loose our seeds and plants. This happened last year and it was a real nuisance going to all the effort of growing and going on holiday and wondering if the plants will survive.I bought it from Two Wests and I just bought the basic kit which was enough. Steve cut all the bits of tube and set it up for our greenhouse layout. I also put a hole and plant pot in the middle of each grow bag coz last year it became harder to water inside the bags as the tomatoes got bigger. This way if they do need manaul watering I can just pour it into the plant pot and know it is getting into the bag and not overflowing down the sides.
